My ex works Daihatsu Charade GTti in action in the late 80s and 90s in the hands of Terry Kaby and Scott Bradshaw.

Took my 3 years to track the car down back to its last keeper on the Isle Of Man and bought it about 3 years ago to restore to its former glory.

Had a few track cars:

Suzuki swift GTi - great little car. Lots of revs from a tiny 1.3!

Fiesta RS1800 - terrible car, full of rot, nothing but problems, soon scrapped!

Golf Mk2 16v - still got it. Spent lots of time building this. Currently laid up as engine could do with some work (is nearly 20yr old + has done 180k miles though!) just need to find some time to do it!

When we stripped this out and lifted the carpets there was lots of daylight! (Must have had around around 10 repairs to floor previously too!) Did one trackday in it, knackered a driveshaft, then broke it for spares and actually made money on it.

And yes, all 3 of my pictures are at Blyton (only about 10 mile drive from me)

Here's a few cars I have had or still have

Nissan Sunny F2 rally car in Castle Coombe on the rally super car day

On the Red Kite rally a few years ago in a hired Impreza

The M3 that I built from scratch , took me 2 years and over £40k in parts , too much money tied up in a car that I treated too nicley on the stages , so it had to go , best car I ever had

I then had a 206 cup car which I still have and am trying to sell , I told my son to get his rally licence and use it but he is more interested in booze and women ( cant blame him I suppose )

And currently my Type R impreza I have had for the last year

the wyedean the other week , very very slippery

My current toys

How to kill an Escort ( and nearly me ) on Epynt in 1996 , waste of a good car

I've not met many people in racing who don't like a good drink......

Seen on the back of a pit buggy in British GT last year
