Hello, I have a 95 import and I'm in need of some advice on why the gears feel sticky! First of all it was only 5th I was having problems with but now it seems to be all of them but at different times! When you put her in to 5th you have to do it gently all the time, but sometimes it goes in fine and other times it makes a grinding noise and feels a bit stiff! As if you are pushing it against it will, its really hard to explain. It has never jumped out of gear thank god!

Then sometimes when you go from 1st to 2nd it feels you have put in gear but when you pull the clutch up it hasn't gone in! I know very little about gearbox's but i was wondering if the synco mesh might be the problem?

Also when i changed gear and bring the clutch up the pedal gets stuck down a little then banged up to rest at the top! What could be the reason for this?

I have changed the gearbox oil about a month ago and I hasn't made a difference to the sticky gears!

sounds like the clutch cylinder needs replacing, new fluid & bleed system.
