Ok, took a company car which I have had for about 1 1/2 years.

I may not be keeping it much longer and am a little concerned that my ncd built up prior to the ccar will be gone leaving me back to square one when I get a new car.

My current thoughts are to buy a cheap car (think my ncb are still useable upto 2 years?) - less than 2k to use as a workhorse for trips to skip etc. We have another car in the family so my criteria for the sh1tter are:

1) less than 2k
2) reliable
3) not bothered on mpg - won't get used much <3k/annum
4) large load space
5) Ideally 4wd


So far have come up with:
Jeep Cherokee - but not much idea on what these are like
Suzuki Jimny - not a massive load space though

Where else could I put my 2 grand

I will basically bin the car when I get move from the company car

Good shout - showing as £865 on the website which I assume is a misprice and actually relates to the amount on the service. Car tax gven the age would be pretty low I assume?

Yes autotrader for this one and just had a major service so seems pretty good vfm to me and you will probably pull your money back on it too
195 quid for the tax i think

Thanks hutton_d - never thought of that. Guess I should check that out. Am quite fancying the idea of a cheap 4x4 for a bit of weekend fun though!
