Default Music and Scoobs in Wetwang, East Yorks??

Hello folks,

Many years ago, I used to go to see a very good guitarist/vocalist when he played in my local area (Teesside at the time). I have tried to book him to come and play at my local (The Victoria Inn, Wetwang) for my birthday on 24th April, but he can't do that night, so I've booked im for Friday May 1st.

The fella is called John P Taylor and is very good, but as he is not from the East Yorks area, I think his following will be somewhat limited down this way, and I'm not sure how many "locals" will join in with the fun.

I wonder i any of the folk on here might like to come along, and we can make it a mini-Scoob meet with some fine music and song thrown in for good measure.

I know we are quite a way off, but they do say "forewarned is forearmed" eh?? I would love to see a few Scoobs in the village, and particularly to come to my local to support both the pub and the guitarist.

There may be a "pie and peas" type thing on, but I'll confirm this with the landlady tonight. I assume if there are lots of people, she may make a small charge for this, but again......I'll confirm

Hope you will join me
