A friend of mind is looking to get a new car, the two he's looking at are a 96 sti & an evo 4.. I've told him to get the sti but he's still unsure. please could you lot tell him that the sti is the better buy. (or is it ?)
The sti is around 4.5k & the evo 5.5k both with about 60k on the clock & both imports.

 

The Subaru is way overpriced and Evo4s have a well documented 'crankwalk' problem (correctly: crank end float): bet the Mitsubishi has had a new clutch.....

 

STI probably the better of the 2, however well overpriced. 2003 sti for under 7k on a dealers forecourt near me

evo seems quite expensive as well, and as mentioned suffer from crankwalk
