i recently have had to claim for the loss of my impreza,up to the crash i have never claimed on my insurance and had 12 years no claims.Will i lose all this bonus now and have to start from scratch?,my bonus wasnt protected...

 

depends on your insurer, i had a bump a few years back had 20 years with no incidents, i lost 1 year of the max 7 years

btw i was non-protected

 

Yeah, not quite sure how it works, had a total loss last year and lost 3 yncb out of 5
