Default Question - running a mix of 97 and 100 in a car mapped for 97

Classic 98
Car is running simtek
Mapped for 97 ron

1.Will running it 100ron - add in another layer of safety generaly
2. Or if I run the more aggresive map - 350hp, say with anti lag - would 100ron add in another layer of safety.
3. Runing a mix of fuel 97 some times and then 100 others. Does it just adjust with its eyes shut. Or is it not too good for the car...as opposed to running 97 all of the time or 100 all of the time

Thanks
Steve

Its a question of - does running 100 build in another layer of safety on a 97 maped car.....or is it.....you daft bugger you are just wasting money putting 100 ron in?????

depends on how aggressive it has been mapped

if its been mapped to within an inch of its life regarding det, then yes 100 will give an extra safety margin

if its been mapped with the biggest and fattest safety margin ever, then 100 ron will give yet another layer of safety but is not really needed

Thanks
what about mixing fuel on regular basis. Does it just compensate for it in its stride. Or will it not like constant change?
