was wondering if we could get away with running an open type filter on the Sti V8 motor. this reason is my bid end went on my V3 model and now m transplanting the Sti version 8 motor in and also want to still use my old front mount intercooler since its there already. would the v3 pipings still fit on the new motor?

Plan on doing also a open-ecu remap once the new motor went in
