It will fit.

You will have a CEL light on the dash after fittment as the Sti has no TGvalves only a delete housing. I suppose you could fit your TGV's to the new manifold if you wished.....

Hope this helps

The STi version WILL have TGVs unless its from a JDM STi or Spec C.

A bit of a pointless swap as its a PITA job for no gain.
It would be cheaper to take the top half of the WRX manifold off and paint it in crinkle red.

Reason i was asking is im just about to fit a vf34,de cat up pipe, sti top mount & 550 injectors before going to Andy F for a remap!

Ive just bought a complete manifold with throttle bodies, injectors,oe dump valve & intercooler and was just wondering if the whole lot will just bolt on so to speak!

I have just carried out a full engine build and swapped a MY04 sti "Type UK" manifold onto the new engine and it had no TGV's ????. Car was totally original and i bought it standard with a very low mileage.

Did all the type Uk sti's have TGV's .There is not even connectors in the loom for them so i assume they we never there. Car was mapped first time early last year. Ecu had never been played with and if it had TGV's as standard then the CEL would have had to been mapped out.

I agree with it being a bit pointless at the power levels you will be running. I hear B&Q are doing some nice crinkle paint that is in the correct shade of go faster red

Sorry -I got the models mixed up - again.
All have 2.5 litre STis had TGVs since 2003.
JDM and worldwide 2.0 litre STis didn't have them (2002-2004).
I'm not sure about the worldwide 2.0 2005 STis though?

Fitting the TGVless bodies to a WRX will cause multiple CEL codes so fit them with other mods and a remap.
