Hi guys, I've just brought my wrx type ra and in the next couple off months i'm going to need alot off work doing to it ( can't wait ).
Just want to know, are there any reputable scooby specialists around huddersfield? like a local scooby clinic lol if there is please could you let me know as the last thing i want is some cowboy touching up my car

I'm a fellow yorkshire lad, used to live in Huddersfield, anyway, your best bet is Richard Henry Auto's in Bradford, they are based in West Bowling I think it is (though might be east bowling). Used to take my V1 STI there top bloke and really knows his Jap cars, had my engine rebuilt there, really good guy, very honest. No rolling road there though, or wasn't last time I went.

I've been told there is a place in Hebden bridge too but heard bad things about them.
There is also Well Lane turbo centre, but I wouldn't really recommend them either, more a Ford place.

 

if your not too bothered about a little journey your best bet is rick at RE Motorsport in york... 1 of the top 3 subaru technicians in the country!top blokes!

 

Theres Pennine Subaru in Hebden Bridge, you certainly wont hear any bad words about them, builds some real big power engines theres a few people on here who have had them built and have nothing but praise for their work. Very knowledgable and very helpful when I went. Also does ECUTEK remaps too.

Also HDC Subaru in Hebden Bridge have a good reputation but cant comment as Ive never been.

Best place to ask is on the West Yorkshire Impreza Owners Club

Pennine Subaru in Hebden Bridge. Chy's knowledge is encyclopaedic and he will always give you the best advice. Richard Henry is also a very good garage and Andy is a very nice bloke. The only problem is they are both very busy!

 

I've used Ric at RE Motorsport near York, and Howard at HDC Subaru in Hebdon Bridge and both are very good. I've never heard a bad word about Penine either, although never used them, or Richard Henry's. I'd contact them all to discuss your plans and see who can do what you require for the best price.
