Has anybody fiited a decat centre exhaust section and tried to pass mot CO tests? If so, what results. Thinking of changing mine but don't want to have to put old one on every MOT.

my old 97 scoob passed its mot with just the original downpipe and a scoobysport mid and back box

just replaced the centre cat with a magnex decat pipe.
got my old man to test the emissions with his red box thing that they use on the MOT and the reading was no different compared to what is was with the cat fitted.

Have to have one then. Is it much louder than standard?

oh yeh, but that is with a stainless back box as well.
dont know what its like with a standard box
