Hesitation at full chat?????

Have started to get a sudden hesitation at about 4-5 k RPM. When I floor it in 4th or 5th. Tried it without Dawes Device. Still got the problem........Lasts about 1-2 seconds.
Car. legacy turbo 93 uk
Mods. ITG filter, Res box removed.
Could it be spark leads or coil packs???? would like to eliminate a few things befoer a trip to Power Station!!
