Default JUST COOKED FOR DAVID RICHARDS!HOW COOL!

as title says just had mr david richards aka mr prodrive in our restaurant with his wife and son(i presume they were)before they went off to the cinema!!
they all had smoked trout salad with creamed horseradish to start, then he had tortellini pasta filled with cheese and a tomato and mushroom sauce, his wife had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and his son had sausage and mash with onion gravy.then paid bill, came up to kitchen to me and said great food and thanks!!

have to say i was completely bowled over and star struck when i saw him walk in

I bet he's really pleased that you've told the world what he had for dinner!
Hope it didn't fill him up so much that he couldn't demolish a box of popcorn and a bag of pick n mix!
Actually that sounds tasty - where are you?

he's a true Gent and very down to earth

We were at WRC Germany this August, SIDC had Prodrive Hospitality. Although he was extremely busy with "Bigwigs" he took time out to speak to us "Fans" and even signed my VIP pass

He is a true gent, when I had my RTA back in 1996 (nearly killed by a drunk driver) I wrote to him at Prodrive and he sent me a load of Prodrive video's to watch and a bunch of signed photo's from Colin McCrae and Derek Ringer I didn't have my Scoob then, but he did it all the same, I sent them back after I had finished with them, I will never forget his kindness!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
Colin
