Does anyone know of any decent Scooby mechanics in the Worcester area? My 1994 WRX STi has developed an annoying low revs misfire when hot and my local garage can't cure it. I took it to Hyltons of Worcester who are supposed to have taken over the Subaru franchise from the late lamented Listers, but they don't seem to have a clue and just want to charge me £75 an hour to mess about with it. I am useless with spanners myself so I need someone knowledgeable to diagnose the problem and cure it. From reading other posts on this forum it seems like it may well be a problem with coil packs or somesuch... I am happy to travel a fair distance to get it fixed by someone who knows what they are doing. Any suggestions gratefully received.

 

take it to power station or to api mate do a search on here to find contact info sounds like a coil pack to me but get a pro to look at it.

I'm at Foresters Subaru at the moment for a service & cam Belt change.

Ivan's had 2 calls this morning already from people who have had engine rebuild problems and the Garages that did the work can't sort it and, can he?

Top bloke reasonable rates, I live in Worcs myself & make the effort to go to him.
