Default **ADVICE PLEASE ANYONE ***

I have a 1997 STI TYPE R and the air flow meter has gone and it has orange label onit and i have seen green label air flow meter, can i replace my orange label air flow meter to green label or not and why? if anyone can advise on this it will help me save about £50.00. Cuz i might be getting riped off. Thank You

You cannot replace with the green label maf, as it is smaller 80mm vs 90mm for the orange label.

The ecu will not read the airflow correctly as it was mapped with the orange label maf.

So in short you are risking your engine if you use the green label maf, no point saving £50 if you have to shell out for a engine rebuild after fitting it.

wow i might as well still to orange one then would you have an idea where i can find one orange label i looked on ebay cant find any
