Now, the codes he lists do match up with an sti sa, but it actually having a TD04 instead of a TD05?, and a few other things, what do you think?, engine displacement?, my car started life as the sister to the sti sa, mine was just an auto wrx sa.

no, thay have a ali bonnet, thats it. no spoilers for cost savings.

those seats are out of a much later sti, v3 maybe 4,

all, early wrx wagon do indeed have a td04.

no proof it is an sa sti though as that model code is also list as the standard 5 door wrx in his link! could just be a wrx with no spoilers, cant see any other sti markings on it. i thought all genuine v1 and v2 stis had a plaque on the inner wing. the wrong seats and no other markings makes me actually think its just a wrx

 

Won't even have an ally bonnet. Wagon STi's didn't get as many ally bits as the saloons, even came with steel wishbones !

 

agree, now i think about it, my 95 wrx wagon had steel bonnet and wishbones..

 

mine is a wrx sa an its got both boot spoilers an ally bonnet an a manual gear box but ill have to cheak the codes tomoz
