Default Cleaning intercooler??

Was wondering today what,s best to clean off the crappy looking line on my cooler?? rest of the engine is fine, just bugs me this...

Anyone............

Meguiars Super Degreaser cut 4:1, sprayed on, agitated very gently where possible with a Meguiars Slide Lock Detail Brush and then rinsed off. Repeat if necessary.

megs super degreaser cut to 4-1. spray on and leave to soak for 5 - 10 mins. then reapply and very and i mean very gently aggitate with a very again i mean very soft brush. you may need to do this several times to get it to. some people will recoil in horror at this comment, but i've never had a problem doing this on my or any other intercooler i have cleaned.

one way of avoiding it in future is to fit an intercooler diffuser. that way the dirt coming through the vent with the air is spread more evenly over the intercooler. an effective mod for 2 reasons. 1) lower itc and 2) the dirt line won't be so obvious as more of the cooler will be grubby from the air being spread out over a wider area
