airbag light stays

I've recently brought a 54 plate WRX, an the airbag light came on today, I've tried all the fuses an there ok any ideas what could have caused this an to get it rectified cheers for your help

try the plugs under the seats, as this can be a common problem as passengers can catch their feet on the loom and loosen the plugs
