Seen as no1 replied when i posted in the general tech section il try posting in the correct section

Ok... Ive got a Subaru impreza turbo 1998 (s-reg).
Getting concerned over a slight kind of gearbox whine. it happens when in 1st gear even when clutch is pressed... as soon as you take it out of 1st it stops and every other gear is fine.

Any Ideas??
