Anyone throwing out a working old laptop? My mate had one but now it has stopped working. All I want it for is for use with my Clifford Wizard connection to my car. New laptops with USB don't seem to work with the Clifford even when trying a USB-serial adaptor.

So it needs to power up, with a serial port and Windows 98 or something old like that.

I got 3 at home, all runners.

P166 to P266 IIRC, will have a look when I get home. Should do what you want.

Toshibas and a Compaq, all runners with power supply and choice of operating system, 95, 98 (or ME but might be a bit too much for them)
