Question de cat sencor my 1994 sti

Hi everyone this is my first thread on scoobynet and im looking forward to being a part of your community. I just have a question about my de cat pipe if anyone can help, Iv got a 1994 sti vertion 1 and iv just fitted a de cat pipe i noticed that on the origonal cat there is a small lanber sencor AFTER the cat but on the decat pipe there is no hole for this to go iv unpluged the sencor from the car and it seems to be running . is this ok to do or will i need to have the de cat pipe modified to house the sencor thank you:

Its not a Lambda senSor its a catalyst overheat senSor fitted for Japan and has no effect on the running of the engine at all.
