Default TDO4L TURBO

Need advice guy's..

Should their be play on the 'air' inlet shaft of TDO4L?

I've been told as it's not a roller ball bearing turbo, it should have play to allow oil through the bearing it's self, is this correct??

The turbine blades arn't fouling the casing or anything but their is movement in the shaft.

if its anything like the garrett turbos, slight up and down movement is normal as gets taken up by the oil pressure, but in and out movement (end float) is not to be allowed.

To be honest my MHI turbo has absolutely no play at all......having said that, as long as its not leaking oil into the compressor housing, its OK.
