hi if anyone can help me ive got a n reg subaru legacy gt twin turbo but at 4000 revs the turbo dies any ideas guys or do i have to buy a new turbo?

how do you mean dies?

 

as i understand the first turbo kicks in at 1500 or 2000 then the 2nd then kicks in at 3500 revs to 5500 to 6000 but at 3500 u feel the boast then as soon as it hit 4000 u feel the theres no boast there at all and is quite noticeable, this is my first legacy gt but had wrx before so not quite sure if this is right or whats the problem so any advice would be gratefull, thankyou
