Hi everyone,
Just as the title says, I'm new to the UK -- arrived a few days ago, and I'm hoping to get out to the Wales Rally. I've wanted to see one my whole life and I'm a die-hard Suby lover and do photography, so this looks like my chance. I'm alright with transportation, I'll be taking a train up, and accommodation looks good as well (lots of hostels), but my problem is getting to and from the rally. I'm blown away by the UK Subaru community [the Colin McRae memorial drive] and I'm hoping someone will have a big enough heart to help another Suby owner out. I'd obviously chip in for parking and anything else. Most likely, I'll only be able to make it for one day (Saturday) but possibly Sunday too. In advance, thank you for even considering!

Whereabouts in Wales will you be staying?

I'm not completely sure yet.. haven't booked anything until I was sure I could get to and from the rally I know there are a lot of hostels in the area, but I don't know if they're remotely close to the stages at all.

I drove through Zion in June

The stages are more spread out this year so transport to and from them is essential. Can you hire a car? Accommodation will also be hard to come by so I would start looking now. We book ours a year in advance!

 

We sleep in the car, no booking required! no room service though
