I gave the car a good clean at the weekend including the glass, but there are water stains on the windows that simply won't budge - they've been there since I bought the car a couple of months ago. Any ideas how to get rid of them?

Cheers lads I might order some soon. I normally use AG Fast Glass to clean all the glass on the car. It does a great job at that but these water stains are still there.

Hey guys, I'm finally getting round to sorting this problem out.

So just to clarify, you reckon I should order the Jeff's Prime Strong from Polished Bliss? Is it a pretty much polish-on, polish-off product then, safe to use on windows?

Again the problem with the water marks is that they're permanent stains on the glass that dont even wash out, I'm hoping this product will get rid of them for good.

I've got the jeffs prime, but i found the cheaper t-cut window polish in the blue bottle works for me. Seems a shame to waste the jeffs stuff.

 

Water marks on glass can be a pig to remove sometimes. My starting point is always Prime Strong on a Lake Country German CCS Light Cut Pad, and yes, Prime Strong is an awesome glass polish full stop. If this fails to remove the marks, then I usually step up to a light cutting compound like Menzerna 203S, again applied using a Lake Country German CCS Light Cut Pad. If this also fails, then it's a case of out with the machine polisher and a proper cerium oxide based glass polish... which is no fun at all, but allows progress where nothing else will work.

 

Thanks for all the advice. Think I'll go for some Prime Strong as these stains are gonna need some elbow grease to get rid!
