Default flexible backing plates

Good afternoon,

I am in the process of getting a 'kit' together that inc the Meguiars G220 polisher. Now, from what I've been reading the Lake and Country CCS light cut and spot pads are recommended. However, the PB guide says you need to use them with dual action flexible backing plates, which they are out of.

So they cannot be used with the backing plate that comes with the G220?

Is there anywhere else that sells the dual action flexible backing plates?

Thanks
Nick

The large backing plate that comes with the 220
works fine with the 6" pads. For bits and bobs
register on Detailing World, there is a ream of traders on there
that can supply everything that you might need :
Detailing World - A world for detailers by detailers.
Craig.

The 125 mm plate that comes with the G220 is a flexible backing plate, and fine for use with pads ranging from 135 mm to 165 mm. The smaller 70mm plate for use with 100 mm spot pads is a problem for many traders just now; we all use the same supplier, and they are out of stock temselves, with a new productsion run not due in until the start of October. If you can find one, snap it up!
