Got my P1 back from the fixit men yesterday. It's been 2 months of wheezing about in a pathetic little Fiat FartAbout 'till now. Ye gods - the P1 has frightened me all over again. 'More Underpants Woman' is my new cry! You forget just how fearsome these scoobies really are eh. I bought my P1 new, so I guess 1000 miles of sub-4000 rev running in gave me a chance to become accoustomed to the thing, and I didn't really notice wot a lunatic beast it actually is.

I've been pootling about at granny-friendly speed until my cajones grow to man-size again! Every bloody boy-racer in Nuneaton thinks he's a hero now... 'boy did I show that bloke in the P1 a thing or two'!

Now, if only I could find 2000 people to give me a tenner each, I could get my new house without having to sell the scoob... Any ideas ?

 

I suspect it attracts a lot of interest to those 'wannabee' rodents in their escorts......?? What happened to the car - to be without it for 2 months ?

I had an intimate moment with some ice/mud and a curb. Bent the offside rear suspension. Quite quick to fix - they just replaced the lot, but bl00dy AXA insurance took over a month to ok repairs because I refused to take it to one of their 'approved' garages... Honest Harry's Backyard Boys or similar! Guess who I won't be renewing with eh

 

I'm about to take delivery of an ex-demo P1 (1k miles) - so hopefully I can start the fun from word go :-)
Unfortunately - Edinburgh is pretty ICEY at the moment :-((

Do not get the new house stick with the P1 I have.

Got 18in rims put on today and look great although when I put them on I managed to knock one onto the road and damage the alloy not happy.
