Default thickest gearbox oil

that i could use in a 95 wrx sti in a 5 speed manual.

Its making a whining noise and i was wondering if something like a much thicker oil could maybe solve it. cheers

Sergey, it'll be the rear drop gear bearings almost certainly. They need replacing and it is a regular thing, that we do. Try oil but I doubt it'll make a difference.

Use some 75 W 90 fully synthetic.
