Default any suggestions - temporary internet connection in warehouse

Warehouse connected to head office via DSL based VPN tunnel.

We're changing internet providers at a warehouse. The new internet provider cannot pin down a day when the changeover can happen - only saying it takes 7 days once they have the MAC code

So I'm thinking in the meantime perhaps I could fit a temp solution - perhaps a 3G mobile internet connection ?

Question - can you get a 3G mobile internet connection for just a month ?
Question - can you run a VPN tunnel over it ? I don't need a fixed IP in this case

You'll still have the connection from your old provider until the new one takes over though won't you? I've switched providers a number of times with little or no downtime.

PAYG is available but you typically have to pay for the modem.

I do with mine.

I don't know the day they changeover takes place - they only say within 7 days

Once the changeover happens I need to reconfigure the firewalls with the new static IP for the persistent VPN tunnel
