Default 2.2K OHMS 1/2 watt or 1/4 watt resistor?

To get rid of the CEL light following an up-pipe replacement I'm going to fit a 2.2k resistor. What is better - a 1/2 watt or a 1/4 watt?

Maplins don't seem to sell them - any other good on-line option?

Many thanks
Richard.
