It seems more and more folk are doing this as they cant sell there motors for one reason or another,

What I want to know from the people in the know is, is it a viable financially?????

I'm asking this as I've got my eye on an early classic to break if I can get it for the right money.
From looking at what prices people pay for late model cars Version 8 onwards its seems they are sometimes worth more in bits than to by as a whole.....

Well, my bro has a 92 K plate at the moment in For Sale section, and he only wants £1500 for it ......... And it has 12 months MOT on it .

 

I think it can be, obviously depends on the starting price for the whole car.

Also, as it's a little older, then the demand will be slightly higher as things break/fail on these cars.

As long as you are willing to take the time to post the smaller items as well as the main components ie have some padded envelopes handy as well as the courier at hand to handle pallets, then you should easily make a few quid. Small time though won't make you a millionaire

If you can stumble across a motor with some bling bits on it such as the coilovers, uprated this and that then the chances of greater profit increase.
