Bought the car like this, I think the contrast is good. Also like the white wheels with this colour but a total bitch to keep clean

 

looks nice dude, my wheels are standard wrx 04 wheels. Seen a pic of a guys car on here a few weeks ago just wanted to know where and how much it would cost to get mines done in black.

How long have you had those alloys? Were they originally gold with black painted over it? I have noticed on my alloys that the black is flaking off (after 4 months) and you can now see the gold underneath. They were done by Subaru dealer themselves - how crap!?

What is the best way to ensure they the paint dont flake off? How many coats are required? What coats are required? Seems to me that a single layer was sprayed over the original gold and now they look tacky. Can you or anyone else provide me with some sound information so that I can get the job done "properly".
