Default Removing front seats - 2001 Bug

As above, done a quick search but couldn't really find the info i was after.

I basically want to take out the seats for valet, do they just unbolt and pull out? I know on my Vectra i had to plug a clip into the pre-tensioners, before doing anything.

I replaced my bucket seats with a pair of 'sport' seats on my bugeye. If you have the bucket seats then it's just unbolt and take out. If you have the sports seats then you need to unclip the airbag switch/connector under the seat first.

Very quick and easy job.

Richard.

Undo the bolts on the floor in an almost reclined position and take them out of the rear doors. Take care as the bottom of the seats have lots of sharp metal bits to take the paint off the rear quarter panel !!

Two man job if poss

Me and a friend took the front seats out of my car last week when cleaning my car. Amazing how much crap there was in between the seats that you usually can't get to. Found a few pound coins which made the job worth while lol.

As said, simple job really, just unbolt and take out. Shouldn't take more than 1omins if you know what you're doing.
