anyone removed wind deflectors???? (classic)
as above
the actual deflector came off easy enough, now slaving away trying to get off the remnants of the sticky back, any tips???
the main problem is the metal lugs that the push pins go through, how are they attached, do i need to remove the top trim????

As for getting the sticky stuff off be carefull!
I went to see a friend who owns a body shop and he gave me this tool he uses. I can't remember what it's called but it looks like a toffee colour, sort of an abrasive wheel BUT be warned that it can burn the paint very quickly if your not careful!!
John.
should have left them on mate its more hassle than its worth, but if you've already started i used a product called sticky stuff from halfrauds just spray it on then get a scraper to clean it off.
hope this helps
