Default big day 2morro, engine coming out

taking engine out 2moz, im a competant mechanic, but any help wud be grateful, any short cuts people have learnt, hints or tips. cheers

its a 98 wrx

don't forget to take out the clutch fork pivot pin from behind the stater motor, apart from that its an easy job, just take your time.

yeh a mate of mine took two days to take the gearbox off

is the piviot pin easy 2 see and tak eout, now im aware of it?

once starter is out you will see a pug which needs allen key to remove. remove then screw cambelt cover bolt into pin which sits behind and pull out.

Might be worth having a good look at all the Projects forum as most involve engine removal including mine - DIY Budget Rebuild. But yes the clutch fork is the sticking point if you don't know what to do with it.
