I've read somewhere that the standard UK MY01 doesn't come with the bucketseats. It's not even an option for a few months. Today i visited the Dutch Subaru importer and i saw some RHD Impreza's for the UK and they all have the sportseats. So, if you want these seats, import is the way to go.

It's probably not a good idea posting your girlfriends home address on any BBS. There are some strange people out out there....

I think Subaru UK messed up when ordering the "Sports" seats for UK cars. They may have airbags, but they are crap. The buckets are the way to go, but SUK will probably charge extra fo items that are standard elsewhere.

 

The bucket seats are a no cost option. Just means you don't get the side airbags you get with the sports seats.

Oh and I've seen the buckets on a UK demonstrator.

And use Interflora to have some flowers delivered. They are on the web. I have used them [even when in Breda] and the missus was always pleased.

 

I spoke to one of the sales grls on the Subaru stand at last years motorshow and asked why the bucket seats weren't on show.

She replied that there had been a bit of a mistake at the design stage -they thought they could get the side air bags into the buckets, and by the time they realised they couldnt, it was too late, hence the two types of seat.
