Hi and welcome to my advert for my pride and joy!! It’s an September 2001 (51plate) Subaru Impreza WRX 2.0 litre turbo. I am selling my much loved car after many years of fun with the view to buying a new project. I am also 40 now and should get something more befitting my age…maybe!!! As you will see from the extensive list below I have refined and personalised the car over many years. I will transfer the personal number plate to my new car so don’t think it’s in with the sale! It will most likely be MK51 ORS as this was it’s previous registration number and I still have the plates for this number. The car comes with a full Subaru service history, full MOT, and full years tax the car is fitted with a tracker and is paid for until October 2009. It has had 2 previous keepers & completed 77,626 miles (13,500 on the new engine). The car is finished in Premium metallic silver. The car has recently under gone a full 4 wheel laser alignment check and adjustments to give the car a perfect fast road set-up by Zen performance. Also the brakes have been fully re-furbished with new braded hoses, seals and fluid. The car also has a new 5 speed gear box from a 2006 WRX which had only covered 5,000miles this was because 2nd gear failed in the original box. There is also a flamer kit fitted to the car which is switch-able for legal off road use! It’s a non-smokers car with Adjustable steering column, climate control air conditioning, central locking and Thatcham 1 alarm/immobiliser, drivers and passenger air bags and also air bags in the sport seats, electric mirrors, fog light’s, locking wheel nuts.

This car is a highly tuned car with a completely rebuilt EJ20 block with up-rated internals which includes an STi 9 crank, billet con-rods and forged pistons. Also both of the heads have been re-worked. All of this work has been carried out by Zen Performance in Wellingborough (Subaru guru’s, Time Attack winners). The car has been fitted with a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, a fresh(last week)mirror polished front entry converted and ported TD05 16g turbo, HKS induction kit, silicone intake hose, STI 440 lpm pink injectors, TSL ported stainless steel equal length exhaust manifold, de-cat up pipe, down pipe and middle pipe and finally a 400 bhp clutch. These modifications were carried out to improve the cars performance and the car was then re-mapped by Paul Blamire at Zen Performance using an Ecutec ECU upgrade. The car now produces 336.1 bhp and 352 lb/ft torque at 1.5 bar boost on Shell optimax fuel. It is an incredibly fast car and not for in-experienced drivers!!!
The car is in superb condition apart from a dent in the roof acquired on new years eve when a firework hit my car from a neighbours garden (I wasn’t impressed) I have had Dent devel’s out to fix it, but there is a stiffening rib that runs underneath the dent so they were stumped, though It has not chipped the paint work so won’t affect the car. There are also a few stone chips (filled in now) in the bonnet & sills, as you would expect from a 7 year old fast car. Mechanically everything is really fresh and strong.

Also by seperate negociation are the KEI Velocity 19” ten spoke wheels with virtually new Toyo Proxes T1-S 215/35 ZR19 tyres. £1,400.

Okay, I must be more realistic so I have reduced the price now.

also looking at Evos and some of the newer Imprezas too as they seem to be going for silly money with like 10k miles on the clock and a year old

 

That's a lovely supra and a tempting offer Wez p, but I will say no thank you as I am keen to keep it scooby.

I have just got back from Zen's today having serviced her once again. The car will include an STi top mount intercooler bonnet under tray and a STi bonnet scoop. I just can't help but spend money on her still!!!

On a seperate issue the car is still for sale and I thank all those people who have expressed an interest in her, I do hope that at some point this spring she will find a new enthusiastic owner to care for her as I have.
