Default Clutch Help!!

Hi all, ive got a 2001 Bugeye WRX, the problem is that the clutch sometimes slips in 4th and 5th, ive had the car for nearly 3 months and its only done it about 5 times. The car has warranty on it, but they wont replace the clutch if it wont slip at the time of the mechananics test drive, can the clutch be on its way out if it dont slip all the time?? Thanks in advance Paul.

Strange one that, in the fact that it doesn't do it all the time?

Can you identify when it does do it ie, going up a certain hill, certain rolling speed before pressing the accelerator and inducing clutch slip? If you can and it's constant then I'd suspect the clutch plate, but if it's random even on this little test, then I'd suspect something to do with the clutch pressure plate and the fact that it's not clamping fully all the time. Sticky hydraulic piston, actuator, clutch pedal?

Just some thoughts there really
