maybe its just me but i think the hawkeye lights look so much better than the blob ones which is why i did the exact same swap (well other way round actually) i just hope they are JDM hawkeye lights with 2 clear reversing lights and not the nasty red one side white the other as i think they look horrid

Are the JDM ones plug and play into a UK hawkeye?

yes they are plug and play although i put the JDM hawkeye lights onto my JDM spec c the wiring is the same, obviously you would lose one reversing light for a foglight but at least both sides would be white lens instead of one red and one white which i feel unbalances the look of the car

probably just me being picky

S!
I have a spare JDM Offside (driver side) one. I put a UK one it and rewired both sides so that I could have an integral foglight and breaklights in the circular bit.
On a 2004 JDM as standard the circular bit is normally the sidelight!!

It looks the same but the centre red bit has no holes for a lamp.

JDM light with separate fog under the bumper:

UK light rewired:

Are you

Brake and fog are 21watt, side are 5watt. Why didn't you have side + fog in the circular, then at least if you brake in fog, people know what you're doing!
