What's the size of the nut that holds the front brake hose to the brake pipe?

Also, is it ok to heat it up to get the nut off, and are there any general do's and don'ts to get it off?


I wandered over to the brakes section and asked the same, but the only thing in there is tumble weed.

 

go and treat your self to a spanner that is made for the job, save you hasstle incase you strip

I did heat mine up, dont know if its the correct method

Yep, that's exactly what I did in the end

It came off with a bit of violence, mole grips, wd40 and swearing
