Default uk my00 which exhaust and dv

Hi there guys just put a deposit down on a very clean w reg impreza turbo 2000. Its got a magnex rear box, un branded centre section and a ecutek remap making about 250bhp. Am really pleased with the car but would like to add a dump valve to it. Have looked into the hks ssqv and am pretty sure this is the one i will go for, this and maybe change the exhaust to a blitz nur spec.
Could anyone comment on this combination on a similar tuned turbo2000.
Any advice would be great as am freash from the VAG stuff straight to the subaru scene

Welcome to the slippery slope.

The Blitz is a cracking system and is highly regarded on the Impreza. It will laugh at your Magnex.

As for dumpvalves...................don't bother.

Yes, they may sound good (to some) but on the classic cars especially they can cause engine problems. Do some research before splashing out any cash.

The Nur Spec is an awesome bit of kit but very loud, make sure you are going to be happy with the prospect of annoying the neighbours.

Right i was aware that dump valves can have adverse effects on an engine, i wasnt aware that impreza's had any troubles with them.
Have done a bit of research and the nur spec seems to come highly recommended however if i were to go for the R 3'' how does this mate to the rest of the 2.5'' system

The 'R' tapers to 2.5" where it meets the d/p.
