Anyone know how many dB (noise) a 2001 WRX with PPP makes?

Hi there,

I'm booked on a novice trackday at Brands on the 21st of august. It has a noise limit of 98dB and I have a PPP kit sitting in my garage waiting to be fitted.

Should I get it fitted to my bugeye before the trackday or not? Will it pass the noise test with the PPP fitted?

shouldn't be a problem. It's prob about 92-95dB.
Mine is alot louder then a PPP system and recorded 97dB at Goodwood.

My last STi Type RA only registered 92.6 with a full (original scoobysport style) decat. Dip the clutch as they take the reading- the transmission noise can add quite a bit.
