That would be me then. There were supposed to be 100 cars on the saturday and 50 on the sunday. A load didnt turn up so we were asked to bring the RB320, the WR1 and the 330bhp Focus ST. I agree that it did get a bit boring after you had seen it all once especially as the stunts and other bits were separated from the main car attraction.. The 14 million pound jag was the main attraction especially when it fired up and drowned everything else out..
PS did you see the curly haired nerd driving that Dominator?
Because it sounds like this guy only turned up on the Sunday and as such wouldnt have spotted the Aston DB7 and the MGBGT V8 that we took down on the Saturday. Besides... the ST is quicker than the Aston

Fast Ford or Slow Aston... I know which I would choose.
Hopefully you will bring the Aston to a WR1oc meet.
If the driver was a little geeky with a slight dribble then I think you have located Megaman....
Ha ha, trouble is a lot of them are like that. I was with the G/F and looking into the engine bay of a Mkii Escort when some loner comes over next to us and talking to himself. I quickly pulled the g/f away and moved on sharpish.
I was expecting the cars to drive round the centre like they did last year but that did not look like happening so I left.
There was an Aston showed up on the Sunday at about 11am.
My dream car the Astons but shattered recently when I drove one at an experience day as I found it very underwhelming compared to my scoob.
Unless you are talking a high end Aston, they are sexy looking comfortable ways to travel. The power / handling / performance doesnt compare to a scooby I agree.
PS The Aston DB7 was there Saturday not Sunday... it will be the DB9's there both days that you might have seen.. the Gulf one which was in fact a black Aston with lots of decals on it under all that and the silver one...
