Why oh why oh why didn't Prodrive put this into production. Why don't Subaru try to salvage some of their lost credibility by building it?

As Clarkson said at the end of the piece, it was the showcase what Prodrive were capable of, but never intended to be a production car.

I guess there are huge production costs which would only be recouped if the price were in the realm of traditional sports cars such as Lotus, Porsche, etc.
