The car is a 2001 (51) BMW 530I Sport Steptronic, in a lovely rare Slate Green.

Steptronic is where you can use the auto box in a manual mode, extends the revs and unleashes all the power and is very fun, best of both worlds!

231Bhp at standard, from the 3litre straight 6. Sounds lovely as you’d imagine.

I am only the 3rd keeper

The mileage sits at just over 68K so very low compared to what else is about

2 Green bars left for service, which would be around or over 5k miles I believe?

All major services documented and mainly done at the main Sytner garage.

Bad points

Has some missing Pixels on the Stereo display, annoying to start off with, but once you’ve figured it all out its fine! Very common “problem”

Slight kerbing to a couple of the wheels

Couple of small touch ups done on the paintwork by a previous owner.


Things I will sort before sale (or negotiate price wise)

Completely new brake lines (mot advisory)

And a high pitched noise that only occurs from cold start until warm (water pump so I’m told) Again that’s a common one.

This is a nice sensible family car, and the car turns into a different animal when you want it too. Really has been a pleasure to own. But for now I’m making a journey back into 4 wheel drive land.
