A few of us were trying to find out how many Impreza type R version 5 v-limiteds were actually produced?

Does anybody here know?

Same here, I'd love to find out. I believe though that it was a customer order model. Hopefully someone knows

 

Probably 500 sti v ltds and 1000 wrx v ltds, thats what they normally did

The version 5 cars where not v limited...........just limited..

They dropped the "v" on the version 5 and 6 cars.

Strange they did not have a build no. plaque like the type ra limited ....



Is it possible there was not enough of them made..???

 

Version V (09/98-08/99) - GC8F
The power stayed the same as the previous version. The engine layout and design was made cleaner and was dubbed as the Boxer Phase 2 engine. The facelift the rest of the Impreza line had was also applied to the STi. The WRX STi weighed 1270 kg (2800 lb). There were 1000 WRX Type RA STi Version 5 Limited cars and the WRX Type R STi Version 5 Limited cars had a 4 month waiting period for each order. The interior was also changed slightly from the Version 4 including seats and steering.This model was also produced as a 555 limited edition.
