I am having a sky hd system fitted this week just wondering if anyone on here can tell me how they fit the cable to the dish the paperwork says they cant run it through wall cavities does this mean they won't drill a hole through my wall?

They drill holes through anything to save time and money, even running cables along skinting boards too !
But aren't insured to go in loft spaces.... carp IMHO

Yes, they will just drill from outside to inside, just means they won't try and run cable through the cavity to other parts of the house. Incidentally, make sure when they drill, they measure and drill from outside to inside through the joint, because if they drill from inside they will end up drilling through the brickwork and when the drill bit breaks through it will knock out the face of the brick and will look crap from the outside.
