Default Fuel reg and injector fitting ?

Hi, can a fuel reg and injectors be fitted with the inlet manifold still in place ? Don't mind a bit of a fight!

This is on a newage wrx.

Many thanks

I had to remove the alternator and air-con pump to get access to the bolts that fix the metal shields over the fuel rails..... nasty ! 14mm swivel headed ratchet spanner was needed !

Also advise a smear of petroleum jelly on the injector seals on re-fitting, ( I bought new £34 from a Scooby Stealer ! )

P.S. Why both ? A good regulator will allow you to up the fuel pressure, like I did, or bigger injectors will flow more fuel anyway....
