Do any suppliers of silicon hose offer a bespoke service? Im looking for a hose set for a less common car. I can supply a set of hoses as a pattern, if any firms are able. Im assuming that the hoses are formed after manufacture, rather than moulded?

Failing that can anyone recommend me a supplier who carries a large range of generic lengths and bends?

Unless you're very rich or run your own tuning business and can resell them, custom silicone hose sets are prohibitively expensive, we're talking thousands rather than hundreds in my experience, to get the tooling done. Custom runs are best achieved by using off-the-shelf 'generic' ones as you mention, this is the only economical way of doing it. The big two (Samco and SFS) both do a huge catalogue of this kind of stuff, easiest way is to get hold of a Demon Tweeks 'Motorsport' (red) catalogue and pick what you want. Rally Design are the cheapest that I've found on the internet for Samcos, can't remember their address though, they're in Kent IIRC.

i live 30 seconds from the SFS (samco main rival) factory in Luton, i wanted hoses made for the escort of mine, and they said as long as the hoses aint to fiddly they can make them for me, and were talking cheap not thousands, i wanted a special top rad hose making, he said 30 quid! custom made hose for 30 quid! thats cheaper than a hose from shops! obviously its cheaper being that i go direct to the factory.

luxurys of sorta becoming friends with the guy who runs the factorys day to day goings on! lol
