Default Newbie: Hi All Plus Quick question

Hi Everybody
Just became a memeber of Scooby net forums and would like to say hi to all. Owned my Impreza Classic WRX for a year and a bit now. Its a 1996 JDM. Love everything about it apart from one thing. Which leads me to a Question.

Has anbody Changed there headers and up-pipe before. If so, How much of a job (or pain in the ar*e ) was it. Mine is just a pile of rust under the car. Going to swap for a nice gt spec stainless steel job.

Any advice, tips or instructions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Again
Mark

Just done mine (BUG-EYE) could be bad on an older car, as the heat shield bolts may be cooked and rusted solid....

I had to cut some of the old nuts/bolts in half to remove the up-pipe. Took a while with just a basic collection of tools....

Would advise a smear of Holts fire gum on all gaskets whilst fitting....
